On Wednesday, Oct. 20, several leadership organizations from Seneca High School including FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America), FFA, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and STUCO (Student Council) joined to help their community. From 5-7:30 p.m. students went out into the Seneca R-7 district to different neighborhoods to “Trick or Treat” for canned goods to donate to the Seneca Food Pantry.
Seneca students are always very excited to get to get out into the community to collect items for families in need. This is the eleventh year for the Trick or Treat for Canned Goods has taken place at Seneca High School.
In the two-and-a-half hours of collecting, students were able to collect 682 cans.
