• Kayla Ann Marie Foth of Diamond was charged for exceeding the posted speed limit 6-10 mph over, defective equipment, and operating a vehicle on highway with no valid or no license. Traffic appearance set for Aug. 25.

• Marcella R. Foraker of Granby was charged for public intoxication. Traffic appearance set for Aug. 25.

• Diaz Adriana Martinez of Neosho was charged for exceeding the posted speed limit 11-15 mph over. Traffic appearance Aug. 25.

• Charles Lee Sherrill of Diamond was charged for exceeding the posted speed limit 6-10 mph over. Traffic appearance set for Aug. 25.

Inspections by the Newton County Health Department:

• Kentucky Fried Chicken, 5075 Gardner Edgewood Dr., Neosho, was inspected on April 6. The inspector noted toilet paper on the floor in the men’s restroom, the mop sink area is not in good condition, walls are not smooth and easily cleanable, floor tile is cracked in the chicken prep area, water damaged ceiling tiles in dining area, and bulk container of sugar/salt has styrofoam cup in it. The facility received a medium risk rate.

• Taco Bell, 1710 Industrial Dr., Neosho, was inspected on March 12. The inspector noted no violations. The facility received a medium risk rate.
